TV chef Gregg Wallace has hit back at angry customers criticising his healthy-eating website - after they complained about bad customer service and issues with refunds.
The 60-year-old, who stepped down as co-host of MasterChef last November, launched the fitness site back in 2020 when he shed a whopping five stone 'without going on a diet' , before he rebranded it to GreggWallace.health which, according to the site description, offers 'sustainable lifestyle changes'.
The website states: "Our platform is a testament to the belief that achieving wellness shouldn’t be a struggle. With over 450 nutritious recipes, insights from health specialists, and a vibrant community, we’ve created a sanctuary for those looking to transform their lives."

Anyone who feels they’ve been incorrectly charged should contact us and we’ll be happy to resolve the situation."
They added: "Gregg Wallace Health has helped many people, with thousands of members now leading happier and healthier lives." Under the plan, customers can opt for either a monthly, six-monthly, or annual plan to gain access to the full resources available, with a yearly plan at the cost of £89.99 a year with the promise that subscribers have ‘the ability to cancel anytime’.
Some unhappy customers, however, have claimed they were not able to cancel their plans and had to go to great lengths to come by a refund. "Getting no reply on [their] email for a refund. Customer service terrible and would not recommend them," one Trustpilot user wrote in a one-star review.
"Renewed my membership and took the money without any warning, tried to resolve amicably many times but the customer service was horrific and unprofessional," an anonymous consumer shared. "They took membership renewal money with no notice and are ignoring my daily emails to get it back," another reviewer added.

Other customers, however, have been distinctly happier with the service provided. "A first class service all round, plus the support of others in the group is phenomenal," one wrote. "So much choice of wonderful food, easy to use website and unrivalled support. This plan is so easy to follow and really works," another penned.
"I joined late June this year, after trying so many ‘fad’ diets and them not working. I am glad I did, this is the life changing plan that I needed to kickstart me onto the road for a better and healthier lifestyle," a third reviewer shared. According to the refund policy on the website, it offers a ‘freemium version’ which allows interested parties to explore the platform before making a financial commitment, while also stating that ‘refunds are not provided once you have accessed our full intellectual property’.
It adds that ‘membership can be cancelled’ but ‘given the immediate, full access we provide to our extensive recipe bank, expert advice, and diet framework, these services are not subject to the standard cooling-off period.’
Criticism of the presenter's website comes after a torrid time for the star, after he stepped down from Masterchef - which he had presented since 2005 years alongside co-host John Torode - last November, his subsequent replacement announced as chef and I'm A Celeb... star Grace Dent.
The move followed alleged sexual misconduct allegations from 13 women over 17 years, including Kirsty Wark And Ulrika Jonsson. The former BBC presenter was accused of making ‘inappropriate sexual jokes’, asking for the number of female production team members and getting undressed ‘too close’ women on the show, as well as being accused of 'groping' three women in seperate incidents. His representatives have issued a statement saying ‘it is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature’.
