Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shows Off ‘Smile Makeover’ Years After Her Teeth Were Removed: ‘The Best Glow Up’

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s post-prison transformation continues with a new set of pearly whites!

Dr. Michelle Corcoran of Peppermint Sage Dental, a dental office based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, shared before-and-after photos of the Louisiana native’s “smile makeover” via Instagram on Monday, October 21. The images showed that Gypsy’s silver crowns and missing teeth had been replaced with what appeared to be bright white dental implants.

The Reel also included a photo of Gypsy, 33, and Dr. Corcoran smiling in front of an LED sign that read, “Let your smile change the world.”

“Thank you @gypsyrose.ig for trusting us to enhance your smile. We wish you only the best!!” the dentist captioned the post, adding “#smilemakeover” and other hashtags.

Gypsy expressed gratitude for the dental work in a comment.

“I can not thank you enough for the best glow up I could ever dream of,” she wrote.

The former prison inmate was first spotted with her “smile makeover” in April, TMZ reported at the time. Sources told the outlet that she had wanted to have her teeth fixed for years and received offers to do the work from multiple dentists.

Gypsy suffered years of abuse from mom Dee Dee Blanchard, who was believed to have had Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSP), a mental disorder that caused her to fabricate her daughter’s various medical issues and lie about Gypsy’s age. The My Time to Stand author’s teeth rotted throughout her childhood and needed to be extracted, Buzzfeed News reported in 2016. However, it’s unclear if the decay was a result of “poor dental hygiene or a mixture of medications and severe malnutrition.”

Before her smile makeover, Gypsy had a set of fake silver teeth that replaced some of the ones she lost.

The Life After Lockup star was released from prison on parole in December 2023 after serving roughly eight years out of her 10-year sentence for her involvement in Dee Dee’s 2015 murder. Following her release, Gypsy made several changes to her physical appearance, including going blonde, getting tattoos and undergoing a nose job.

“I’m going through a personal transformation journey currently and that includes a physical one, too,” she announced via People on April 4. “Wish me luck with my surgery and watch the whole thing this summer on Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.”

Gypsy’s friend Nadiya Vizier told the outlet that the expectant mom, who is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Ken Urker, “wanted a more feminine-looking nose. She just wants to fix it up and give it a more feminine look.”

The transformation is also symbolic, a source exclusively told In Touch on April 17, 2024. “She suffered so much abuse at the hands of her mother,” the insider said. “Changing her nose was a way to shed some of the trauma of her past.”

Gypsy is now preparing to take on a new chapter in her life as she and Ken, 31, await the arrival of baby No. 1. She announced her pregnancy on July 9.

“I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025,” she said in a YouTube video. “We’re both very excited. This was not planned at all. It was completely unexpected.”
