‘House of Villains’ Season 2 Cast Members Reveal What Makes Them a Great Villain

3 weeks ago 5

“To say this season was a wild ride doesn’t begin to describe the insanity,” Richard Hatch exclusively tells In Touch of the second installment of E!’s House of Villains. The first-ever Survivor winner was shocked by how low his castmates would go in their quest to win the title of “America’s Ultimate Supervillain” and a $200,000 prize. “I’ve never seen anything like it — these people are nuts!”

Here, the reality vet and fellow baddies Wes Bergmann (The Challenge), Teresa Giudice (The Real Housewives of New Jersey), Jessie Godderz (Big Brother), Victoria Larson (The Bachelor), Larissa Lima (90 Day Fiancé), Kandy Muse (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Camilla Poindexter (Bad Girls Club), Safaree Samuels (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta) and returning fave Tiffany “New York” Pollard (Flavor of Love) talk to In Touch’s Fortune Benatar about lessons learned, bringing the drama and what it takes to be a great villain.

What can viewers expect?

Wes: This show is a nostalgic throwback to that second generation of reality TV that Tiffany  made famous. We’re there to make fun of ourselves, each other, the host, the channel, the producers — everyone and everything was fair game.

Teresa: You’ll see me in my element and unexpected alliances.

Jessie: There’s incredible drama, legendary backstabbing, awesome alliances and, most importantly, a ton of comedy. It has something for everyone.

Tiffany: Alliances form, then unravel moments later. There was lots of strategic gameplay!

What makes you a great villain?

Wes: I’m the guy that sends out “F–k you” work emails in the form of passive-aggressive jabs and aggressive banter. I would’ve loved to have gotten fired from House of Villains — there would be no greater feather in a villain’s cap.

Teresa: I’m outspoken and speak what’s on my mind, which intimidates people. I don’t care what anyone thinks about me!

Jessie: Whenever I step into a room with my world-renowned physique and amazing good looks, people get jealous and want to immediately hate on me. I like to cause trouble — that’s just who I am.

Richard: I’m bright and rational. I understand the environment and how to play full-throttle without losing sight of the game.

Victoria: To me, a villain is someone you love to hate, which I definitely am. All villains have an origin story; we can be misunderstood.

Larissa: I’m unapologetically bold, fiercely unpredictable and not afraid to stir the pot — let’s face it, I am the pot.

Kandy: I truly do not give a f–k! If you’ve watched me on TV before, you know I’m always the standout and the most memorable one.

Camilla: I’m opinionated, and sometimes that can rub people the wrong way. I mean no harm, though!

Tiffany: It’s impossible for me to fake how I’m feeling, and I’m never afraid to call someone out on their BS.

Safaree: I don’t care what people say or think — and I like to have my shirt off!

What was your biggest lesson learned from the show?

Richard: I thought I’d come to understand how un-self-aware we humans can be. I was wrong.

Wes: I most definitely didn’t learn anything. But isn’t that a good thing? Trust me, you don’t want your reality TV stars getting smarter and more mature!
