Rapper Kanye West and Bianca Censori grabbed all the attention at the Grammy Awards without even staying for the star-studded ceremony.
Since splitting from Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children with, Kanye spent more time creating controversary rather than records. The award-winning singer, 47, tied the knot with his second wife Bianca in December 2022 and has paraded her round in skimpy outfits across the world.
But the couple took things to a new level on Sunday night when Bianca basically appeared nude on the red carpet at the Grammys. From whispered orders for Ye to possible police prosecution, here's everything that went down before and after Bianca's shocking flash.
Fur drop
Despite being nominated for two Grammy Awards, Kanye's attendance at the music bash wasn't really discussed much in the run up to the big day. In an attempt to gain some publicity, Kanye returned to Twitter (X) and shared a series of strange posts. Over on Instagram, he unfollowed all accounts so he was only following one person - Taylor Swift.
The rapper and Bianca turned up at the Grammys and all appeared to be business as a usual prior to the shocking fur drop. Kanye opted for a more understated look in an all-black outfit of t-shirt, jeans, trainers and dark sunglasses. However, it was his wife Bianca who stole the limelight when she shrugged off her black fluffy coat to reveal a daringly transparent mesh slip dress that left little to the imagination.

Instagram)Page Six suggested that the bold outfit choice was an attempt to mimic the album cover of Kanye's 2024 album, Vultures. The cover features Bianca standing backwards, clad only in thigh-high boots and a scant piece of fabric covering her rear.
According to Nicola Hickling, the founder and lead analyst at LipReader, Kanye was instructing his wife to take off her coat and bare all. Hickling claims that after Kanye West initially gave his wife a few compliments, the situation quickly escalated. "You're making a scene now," he told her as photographers started snapping away during their arrival.
Bianca merely nodded in response. Kanye then urged her on, saying, "Make a scene, I'll say it'll make so much sense." Bianca once more nodded silently in approval. Following this, Kanye directed her: "Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you." To which Bianca, determined, replied, "Alright let's go," as interpreted by the lip-reading specialist. At that moment, Australian model Bianca made headlines as she dropped her coat to unveil her nude figure beneath.
Kicked out and hits out
Following the shocking red carpet moment, rumours quickly swirled regarding security's reaction to Kanye and Bianca's nude statement. It was claimed the pair were shown the door at the star-studded event held at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles thanks to their antics.
The whispers about their ejection began when the pair were seen exiting the awards ceremony moments after their red carpet controversary and getting into a waiting vehicle. However, Kanye has since taken aim at TV host Don Lemon, accusing him of sparking the false narrative.

Instagram/bianca.censori)Posting a picture of Don on social media on Monday, Kanye wrote: "This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this." Despite the accusation, there's no concrete proof that Don was the source of the rumour. Initially, Entertainment Tonight reported – in a subsequently retracted post – that the couple had been "escorted out of the Grammys after showing up uninvited."
The Mirror has learned that West was invited to the event as a nominee for Best Rap Song with his track 'Carnival' featuring Ty Dolla $ign. However, he didn't stick around to see if he'd won the award, which ultimately went to Kendrick Lamar.
Legal woes
Bianca's nude stunt may have cause more than just some raised eyebrows and could land her in trouble with the law. Under California Penal Code 314(1), indecent exposure is defined as a person "exposing his or her naked body or genitals in front of anyone who could be annoyed or offended by it."
The law further specifies that the act must be "willful and lewd" to constitute a crime. To be convicted, a person must "intentionally expose your genitals or naked body; expose yourself in front of someone who might be offended or annoyed by it; intend to direct attention to yourself; and intend to sexually gratify yourself or offend someone else when you do it."
Bianca's sister breaks her silence
Bianca's sister has come to her defence following the uproar caused by Bianca's daring outfit. As criticism mounts over the risqué ensemble, Bianca's younger sister, a 20 year old Instagram model based in Melbourne, has shown solidarity with her sibling. She took to her Instagram Stories to share a clip of Bianca's dramatic coat-drop moment, reposted from a Kanye fan page.

Getty Images)She also posted a snapshot of the moment Bianca revealed her daring outfit to the paparazzi on the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena. This isn't the first time Angelina has championed her sister's bold style choices. In January 2024, she told Page 13: "[Bianca] has the best wardrobe."
Moving on from the drama, Kanye has shifted his focus to his fashion label. The rapper has cleared his Instagram feed, leaving just one post: a promotional image of his wife Bianca posing in a black one-piece design. "First women's piece @yeezy.com," he captioned the photo.
However, not all his followers were impressed, with one commenting: "We do NOT wanna see your naked wife no more ye," and another pleading: "Please stop showing your wife naked or barely any clothes," A third quipped: "Why couldn't Bianca at least Wear this at the Grammies?"
