Marvel Rivals has added a Blood Blaze skin for Human Torch that players can get for free as long as they meet these requirements.
Since the early days of Marvel Rivals, devs have offered up plenty of free cosmetics players can grab, be it through Twitch Drops, in-game events, and so much more, which is obviously great for those who aren’t keen on spending money but still want to rock a different look.
With the Midseason 1.5 update now upon us, players also have more exciting things to get their hands on. The Thing and Human Torch are now part of the roster thanks to this update, and they’re sure to shakeup the meta in the coming weeks.
If you’re thinking of picking up Human Torch, in particular, don’t miss out on getting his Blood Blaze skin for free.
How to unlock the free Human Torch Blood Blaze skin in Marvel Rivals
The Blood Blaze Human Torch skin is a new ranked reward introduced in the Season 1.5 update. To obtain this skin, you have to play ranked matches and hit a minimum of Gold III rank.
Alongside this skin, you’ll also be able to obtain the Invisible Woman Blood Shield outfit for hitting the same rank. These skins can be obtained for as long as Season 1 is available. That means you’ll have until April 11, 2025 to unlock them.
‼️Season 1.5 Gold Ranked Reward will be Blood Blaze Human Torch!
If you reach Gold in the second half of Season 1, you can receive both Blood Blaze Human Torch and Blood Shield Invisible Woman

NetEase has previously confirmed that these skins will be going away once the season ends.
They explained: “In order to claim both rewards, players must participate in at least 10 competitive matches during the second half of the season and reach Gold rank or higher. Keep in mind, this is the last opportunity to earn these costumes, as they will be replaced with new rewards in Season 2.”
It’s also worth noting that if you’ve just started playing the game, you’ll have to be at least level 10 to play competitive. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to get XP fast.
In addition, if you’re unsure about what to play in competitive, you can always look at the latest hero pick rate, win rate, and tier list to get an idea of what the meta is like at the time of writing.
