I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! was almost forced off air due to storms that destroyed a part of the set.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed they nearly didn't make it to set because of the torrential rain battering the ITV camp in New South Wales, Australia. The Geordie duo received texts from show bosses telling them they may have to halt filming because the rain was so bad.
The hosts of the spin-off, I'm A Celeb... Unpacked, were also told their live recording could be scrapped as the storm wreaked havoc behind the scenes. On the ITV2 extra show on Saturday night (November 30), Ant and Dec shared the tense moments when they were told filming might be a no-go.

Dec said: "We all got a text this morning saying the rain was so bad we might not be able to get in today," with Ant adding: "We almost didn't make it in". Joel Dommett, host of Unpacked, said he and co-stars Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers were also told they may not be able to access the set because of the storm, reports the Mirror.
Ant and Dec went on to say that parts of the set had been totally wrecked and a Bushtucker Trial was in jeopardy of being ditched due to the extreme conditions. Ant said: "[The trial] has been delayed because of the weather. So we will be here for a lot longer today."
Dec said: "We just have to make sure that the trial that was scheduled is doable in the area that it was. Everything is a little up in the air here." Joel explained: "People don't understand that this show is more than what you see on telly. There is an entire infrastructure of stuff."
Ant then detailed the destruction caused by the weather. including a tent that's been blown away. He said: "Things have blown down in the night. There's a tent out the back there where friends and family come and guests on the ITV2 show stay before they go on. And that's all blown away. That's all gone. It's been pretty tough."
Fans at home started theorising that the stormy weather had thwarted a celeb's exit from the show. One viewer posted on social media: "The rain has even disrupted a trial from taking place and where the celebs families usually wait ... guess that explains why no one was leaving tonight #imacelebrity #ImACeleb #Unpacked."
Another said: "Wow, the rain was so bad today that the show almost didn't air! ! Crazy! ! #ImACeleb #Unpacked."
Australia's been battered by wild weather recently, with hail and storms wreaking havoc. Morgan Pumpa from the Bureau of Meteorology issued a warning about severe storms last Friday, saying: "We do have quite a large area of thunderstorm activity today stretching out across many states."
