Black Friday sales have already begun, and beauty editor Laura Mulley's favourite skin-brightening blush is available for a fraction of its usual cost in the brand's money-saving sale

Black Friday bundle saves you money on the Jones Road Miracle Balm

Black Friday may still be a week away but lots of brands have started their seasonal sales early, including Jones Road, a favourite make-up and skincare brand with beauty fans – and I've found a way to save over £24 on one of my favourite products.

I've spoken many times about the skin-brightening effects that the Jones Road Miracle Balm gives to my skin; a glossy formula in subtle shades that instantly lift and flattering my complexion, even for a blusher-phobe such as myself. The full size 50g pots come in 13 shades (Dusty Rose is my favourite) and cost £36 – but I've found a way to try one for less than £12.

Jones Road sells a limited edition City Lights Kit, which contains two mini Miracle Balms plus a Mascara and Cool Gloss, giving you pretty much a full face of make-up. This bundle usually costs £60 but it's currently reduced by 25% in an early Black Friday sale, taking it down to £45.

This means that each product inside has a value of £11.25, making it a great way to try the Miracle Balms before splashing out on a full size one.

The two shades of Miracle Balm inside The City Lights Kit are Magic Hour and an exclusive new mauve shade Chic, but if these colours aren't be you, Jones Road is also selling The Beach Vacation Kit containing two slightly different hues, and also now reduced to £45.

If you're new to using Miracle Balm, the trick is to break the surface of the product with your fingernail first – this will reveal the creamy balm underneath, which can then be blended onto the skin with fingers, a brush or a sponge.

I like applying it to the apples of my cheeks, but also lightly dabbing it around my temples, over my brow bones and across the bridge of my nose, where the sun would naturally strike. The outcome is a very natural, healthy-looking hint of colour and a glow that instantly makes me appear fresher – and I think this make-up bundle is a great buy this Black Friday.

Black Friday beauty sales are dropping thick and fast at the moment. We've also spotted the popular ghd Glide hot brush with 30% off, a pigmentation-busting serum for under £15, and a clever way to try the new Jo Malone London Christmas fragrance for £18.
