Real Housewives of Toronto Rumored as Franchise’s Next Installment

5 hours ago 2

Real Housewives of Toronto could very well be Bravo’s next big thing. Or so Bravo hopes. But this wouldn’t be the first attempt at Real Housewives of Toronto. Canadian TV channel Slice produced a version of RHOT back in 2017.

Slice also produced Real Housewives of Vancouver in 2012. But ultimately, a long series run wasn’t in the cards for these installments. Meanwhile, in the present, the U.S. Housewives installments face some challenges. For example, Real Housewives of Dubai is officially on pause after just two seasons.

Meanwhile, the Real Housewives of New York reboot faces some harsh criticism in its second season. One former Bravoleb went as far as to call the reboot a piece of trash. Then there are the complications and scandals around Real Housewives of Atlanta. So, Bravo understandably needs to pivot.

According to In Touch, Bravo recently finished filming a pilot for Real Housewives of Toronto. Those who have seen the pilot reportedly received it well, and the potential new installment is seeing a lot of buzz from insiders. Keep in mind that there is no official confirmation here. But In Touch received all the alleged details, including a potential cast list.

The cast might include Roxy Earle, a player in the original Real Housewives of Toronto, along with beauty mogul Natalie Gee and singer Keshia “Kiki” Chanté. Music lovers might know Kiki as a friend of Drake. Arguably, the most notable cast members would be Sasha Exeter, an influencer and entrepreneur, and Jessica Mulroney, Meghan Markle’s former best friend.

However, Jessica reportedly did not appear in the pilot. “Jessica is carefully considering her next steps,” a source claimed. “After the passing of her father-in-law, former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, she’s ready for a comeback and this show could be the perfect opportunity.” Insiders had nothing but praise for the cast. “These women are so much more than just socialites.”

“They’re power players, entrepreneurs, and survivors with stories that will resonate with audiences everywhere.” Another source added, “This show has everything fans love about the OG Housewives – drama, real friendships, and ambition – but it’s grounded in a way that feels fresh and authentic.” Filming reportedly begins in early 2025.
