Jemele Hill, Antonio Brown Trade Barbs Over Joy Taylor Lawsuit Remarks

Jemele Hill and Antonio Brown had a verbal scuffle online after the athlete dragged her name into a lawsuit that had nothing to do with her.

On Monday (Jan. 6), Brown took to X/Twitter to sound off on the sexual misconduct and harassment lawsuit that former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji filed against the network, which named Skip Bayless, EVP Charles Dixon, and Joy Taylor. Taylor received most of the criticism from netizens after it was alleged that she had slept with Dixon to secure a job as the host of Undisputed.

Brown used the discourse to take a shot at Jemele Hill, suggesting that the journalist is unattractive and that men don’t want to be romantically involved with her. “Nobody wanted to f**k Jamele huh? #CTESPN,” he typed, baiting Hill into a back-and-forth.

Some random fan then chimed in, agreeing with Brown and proclaiming that he “saw Jamele in person at Sprouts in Culver City and understand why if that’s true.” Hill caught wind of the post and offered a response to the fan’s assertions, typing, “And yo lame a** went running to the Internet because you weren’t crazy enough to say that sh*t to my face.”

The sports journalist then addressed the former NFL player’s comments, calling him out and implying that he is “community d*ck.” “Well, I wouldn’t know anything about being community, but you do. Please share with the class what it’s like to be passed around, since you have so much experience.”

Marc Lamont Hill jumped in the fray, asking Antonio Brown why he would talk crazy about “our sister,” to which Brown claimed that he was only joking, stating, “It [sic] only cool when she is attacking me & my career tho huh…. It’s all comedy & entertainment tho champ.” The former Pittsburgh Steeler then hit back Jemele Hill, calling her comment unfunny.

Jemele Hill and Antonio Brown’s barbs arrive in the aftermath of Faraji’s explosive lawsuit. Faraji’s suit claims that high-profile figures on Fox Sports, such as Skip Bayless, are guilty of nonconsensual physical and sexual advances and were looking to pay $1.5 million in exchange for sex. The suit also alleges that Joy Taylor climbed the corporate ladder by having sex with Fox Sports’ EVP Charlie Dixon and then securing a spot on the FS1 show Speak by sleeping with Emmanuel Acho.
