Jersey Shore and Bachelor star Erica Taltos scowls in shock mugshot after she’s arrested for ‘punching woman at Arby’s’

JERSEY Shore and Bachelor Pad star Erica Taltos was arrested for battery after punching a woman in the face at an Arby’s in Florida, The U.S. Sun has exclusively learned. 

Erica, 35, appeared on two episodes of Jersey Shore’s season four in 2011 and three episodes of Bachelor Pad’s season three in 2012 alongside her twin sister, Brittany. 

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal details of Erica's May 7, 2023 arrest for battery. 

In the Florida police report exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, the reporting officer made contact with a woman who went to Arby’s fast food restaurant. 

“[The woman] advised as she was pulling through the drive-through to order her food, she noticed a female subject later identified as Erica S. Taltos lying down in front of the north side entrance of the building. 

“[The woman] advised she made a comment in reference to Taltos sleeping in front of the business and continued to drive to the next window to pay for the food she had ordered,” the report read. 

When the woman arrived to the pay window, she claimed Erica approached the driver door window of her vehicle and confronted her over the comment she made. 

“[The woman] advised as a brief verbal altercation ensued, she wanted her to step away from her vehicle. [The woman] advised Taltos refused to do so and punched her on the right side of her face with a closed fist. 

“Taltos advised she did not sustain any injuries during the incident and refused medical. Taltos advised she wished to press charges in reference to the incident," the report read.

A witness provided a statement to authorities advising that as she “was going through the drive-through at Arby’s, words were exchanged between [the women.] When they arrived at the next window to pay for their food, Taltos struck [the woman] in the face.”

Erica was arrested and charged with battery touch or strike. 

She was held on $500 bond. 

In her mugshot, Erica was completely unrecognizable, as she appeared disheveled.

Erica pleaded not guilty during her arraignment on May 9. 

According to an April 18 filing, Erica was ordered to wear a Sweat Patch, which is a minimally invasive drug testing system offered by the court. 

She also agreed to complete a mental health diversion program. 

The reality TV star appeared to be excelling in the program, as a note from a June 27, 2024 filing reads, “Doing well in the program. Keep up the good work.”

She officially completed the program on July 25 and on July 30, 2024, a judgment of nolle prosequi was entered in the case, meaning the prosecution opted to not move forward with the charge.

ROAD TO RECOVERY

It appears as if Erica is continuing her treatment today, as she revealed in September 2024 on Facebook that she “has to go for a mental tuneup.”

In another post, she revealed her treatment center in Clearwater, Florida and shared with her loved ones, “Thank you EVERYONE for all the love, support and prayers!... and by telling everyone, I knew I couldn't and wouldn't back out at the last second...

"If you want to call/mail here is my contact info for the next few months.”

In her final post on September 15, she wrote, “Last day of work for awhile. I'll be back though, the best version of myself thus far.”

MORE ARRESTS

Erica has found herself in legal trouble since her stint on the reality TV shows.

In December 2021, Erica was charged with battery upon a law enforcement officer, The U.S. Sun can exclusively confirm.

She was sentenced to 12 months probation and community service. 

Prior to that arrest, she was arrested and charged with battery touch or strike domestic violence, resisting an officer and disorderly intoxication in March 2015.

Erica pleaded not guilty and all of the charges were dropped. 

In September 2014, she was arrested and charged with petit theft. 

The judgment of $213 was satisfied in 2015. 

TIME ON TV

Erica appeared on episodes three and four of Jersey Shore's fourth season when Mike was hooking up with her sister Brittany. 

Mike said on the episode after a rendevous, “Brittany is one of the most [down to f**k] chicks I have ever met. And now I am just exhausted.” 

While at the club, Brittany introduced Erica to Mike, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino. 

“When you got twins it’s cool. You’re winning, but you’re twinning because you got two twin chicks,” Pauly D said on the episode.  

When Brittany called the next morning, Ronnie played a prank on her and pretended to be Mike. 

He asked her to come to the house with her sister while Mike slept. 

Mike was shocked when he saw the twins walk in, as he said, “Oh my God, they found me.

“A threesome is not an easy task to accomplish. But then again The Situation does the impossible and I think I can get it done.”

But after a night of partying, Deena Cortese made out with Erica.

She said, “This girl Erica seems like a blast in a glass like me. She likes to party, she likes to dance.”

A year later in 2012, Erica and Brittany appeared on ABC’s Bachelor Pad as two of the five “super fans” chosen to compete for $250,000 for the season three premiere. 

The sisters feuded on the premiere episode, as Erica called Brittany a “hot mess.”

Then in 2020, Brittany appeared on Dr. Phil to seek help for her sister’s addiction. 

“My sister is in complete denial of her addiction. Erica drinks pretty much what she can get a hold of. I’ve seen her drink hand sanitizer, vanilla extract, hairspray… I would say seventy percent of the time she ends up at the hospital.”

According to the episode, Erica has been in 14 comas and has been to the hospital over 30 times.

Brittany continued, “Erica is constantly putting herself in danger because of her addiction. One time Erica fell asleep at the wheel while taking Ambien and she crashed into a pole. 

“She gets into cars with strange men, she stays at seedy motels and hostiles, she’s even been homeless.”

Dr. Phil said she was admitted to the psychiatric unit for six days when her mother kicked her out of her home. 

As for Brittany, she has been sober and shares her recovery journey with her followers over TikTok and Instagram. 

In 2020, she released a book called, “Girl, Wasted: A Personal Story of Addiction, Obsession, and Redemption.”
