JLS star Oritsé Williams and wife welcome 'miracle' baby after devastating miscarriages

JLS star Oritsé Williams and his wife Kazz surprised fans last month with their pregnancy announcement, but what they didn't reveal was that their baby boy had already arrived safely – 11 days earlier.

Oritsé, 37, who is also a father to 10 year old Omré from a previous relationship, told OK!: "I'm on cloud nine. I'm in complete awe of my baby boy, he is truly a blessing and I'm proud of us."

The couple welcomed Shiva Zion Olumidé Williams at 6.47am on October 3, weighing 7lb 8oz, after experiencing two heartbreaking miscarriages.

Kazz, 40, shared: "When we found out we were pregnant this time, I was happy and scared at the same time. "I was crippled with anxiety to the point I had to use crutches to move. But Oritsé was amazing – he supported me so much.

" The pair, who connected on social media in 2019, discovered Kazz was pregnant with Shiva on the day they met specialists to discuss IVF as an option. She revealed: "After the meeting, I started to feel a bit sick so I took a pregnancy test – and it was positive. I couldn't believe it, reports the Mirror.

" Due to their past losses, the couple opted for weekly private scans to reassure anxious Kazz. She began to relax at her 20-week scan only to find out she had gestational diabetes and needed to alter her diet. Oritsé, who rose to fame in JLS alongside Aston Merrygold, JB Gill and Marvin Humes, has spoken about their previous losses. He expressed gratitude, saying: "We are grateful for the support and love we have received. We had no idea that many of our friends went through it, too

.

" Kazz said she will "never forget" Oritsé's efforts to soothe her during her C-section delivery of Shiva. Regarding the prospect of his son joining him on tour with JLS, Oritsé chuckled: "How could he not?

I want him attached to me everywhere. I want him to know his daddy as someone who is always there – not just when it comes to nappy changing!".
