Swifties are convinced that Taylor Swift‘s ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, is dating Kendall Jenner after they were spotted (*checks notes*) once together.
On Saturday, October 19, Joe attended the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures 4th Annual Gala in Los Angeles, California, where he was spotted posing up a storm with Kendall.
As Kendall is Kim Kardashian‘s sister, known for her infamous feuded with Joe’s ex Taylor in the past, the sighting of the two immediately turned heads on social media.
One TikTok user, @hankatherinee, first speculated that the British actor might be romantically involved with famous model.
“It looks like we’re heading to a relationship between Kendall Jenner and Joe Alwyn which would drive so many people crazy,” she began in the video. “Fans first started to speculate after Kendall shared a carousel pictures from the Academy Gala and Joe was amongst those who liked those pictures.
“And if you know anything about KarJenners, a relationship is usually launched by some pictures together hanging out at an award show or something and an Instagram ‘like’. That’s how they soft launch,” she went on.
ICYMI, Joe and Taylor dated for six years until ultimately calling it quits sometime in 2023. While together, the pair were notorious for attempting to keep their relationship as private as possible.
Joe last spoke candidly about his past relationship with Taylor during an interview with The Sunday Times Style in July 2024, describing it as “long, loving, [and] fully committed.”
When asked about his ex’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, rumored to include songs inspired by their breakup after more than six years together, the Boy Erased actor responded with measured equanimity.
“I would hope that anyone and everyone can [empathize] and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years. That is a hard thing to navigate. What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it’s suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to weigh in,” he said, via Entertainment Tonight. “So you have something very real suddenly thrown into a very unreal space: tabloids, social media, press, where it is then dissected, speculated on, pulled out of shape beyond recognition.”
“And the truth is, to that last point, there is always going to be a gap between what is known and what is said. I have made my peace with that,” he added.
