Katie Price says she 'wasn't in the right relationship' as she details 'horrific' IVF journey

Katie Price has candidly shared her distressing experience with IVF treatment, stating she won't be tuning in to watch the upcoming documentary that chronicles her attempt to have another baby.

The 46-year-old icon, who rose to fame in the '90s as Jordan and is a mother to five, has been open about her desire for more children, reports the Mirror.

The Channel 4 programme, 'Katie Price: Making Babies', follows her journey with ex-partner Carl Woods. Currently dating JJ Slater from Married At First Sight, Katie revealed to Closer magazine that the IVF process was "horrific" and prefers not to dwell on the past.

She expressed: "I've just done an IVF programme. I've got my twin dolls at home, which I'm not going into detail about. I did IVF, and that programme will be out next year. I won't be watching, as I don't want to be reminded of the past."

She reflected on her previous relationship, saying: "The experience was horrific and, if I look back, I wasn't in the right relationship. I think things happen for a reason, if I'm honest."

Last month, Katie sparked confusion among fans with a photo of two babies, hinting at the arrival of twins, but it was later clarified that the 'twins' were actually reborn dolls—highly realistic dolls that are quite valuable. An insider spoke to OK! magazine, shedding light on why she opted for the dolls.

"She's been through a lot of trauma in her life and she's been at her happiest when she's had her babies," they remarked. The insider elaborated that it's her "happy place and safe place" and with the dolls, she can "just get on with her life as normal".

Despite undergoing three rounds of IVF with Carl, the couple were unsuccessful and have since split. Speaking to the Netmums Podcast, Katie expressed her gratitude for her five children but admitted she yearns for more, saying: "And I don't want to be told by a doctor or something that I can't have more. So I'm looking into other journeys that if I want more, how I can do that, because I know I'm not done. I know I still want, if I could have two more kids, I would."

She also touched upon her fertility journey, sharing that she "didn't realise" until her IVF experience that "you're born with a set of eggs", and that with "every period you have", you "get rid of eggs and stuff".

Katie further noted: "So mine are quite old now, so it's whether it produces a good egg or not."
