Victoria Beckham has launched a sample set of perfumes, each scent capturing a pivotal moment in her life, just in time for the festive season. The four-piece collection is priced at £40, offering a taste of luxury without the commitment to a full-sized 50ml bottle that retails at £170.
The Signature Collection features the entire range of Victoria's fragrances: 21:50 Reverie, Portofino '97, Suite 302, and San Ysidro Drive, all presented in 2ml bottles, reports OK!. Discussing the inspiration behind the 21:50 Reverie, Victoria shared: "21:50 Reverie represents a profound instant of change in my life in 2001.
"With this fragrance — dark, raw vanilla — I am taken right back to an otherworldly night on the island of Java where thousands of tea candles surrounded us. A luscious, earthy scent was in the air, and the flames twinkled like flickers of my new life ahead."

This perfume unfolds with a tobacco leaf note, evolves into a rich plum heart, and settles into a warm base of vanilla, Tonka, and cedarwood. It has drawn comparisons to Celine's Black Tie, although it boasts a unique fruity heart note absent in the latter.
Victoria Beckham has opened up about the inspiration behind her fragrance 'Portofino `97', which harks back to the early days of her romance with David Beckham. She reminisced, "When David and I first met, we kept our relationship under wraps.
"This was when I was in the Spice Girls, when we were enormously successful all around the world, and David was playing for Manchester United. In 1997, we decided to take a trip to Portofino. I remember the light, how the hotel smelled and how exciting that time was. I remember it all like it was yesterday."

Victoria Beckham)The scent starts with zesty Calabrian bergamot and spicy black pepper and unfolds into a heart of sea notes mixed with amber and incense. It has drawn comparisons to Byredo's Bal d'Afrique, though Victoria's creation is less fruity.
In addition to Portofino `97,' Victoria also spoke about another fragrance, Suite 302, which celebrates her and David's love for Paris. She explained, "This fragrance captures the memories of David and me in Paris. This is the city we sneak off to; it is always our happy place, whether for an occasional weekend, a birthday, or an anniversary. I've always felt a natural connection to Paris."
'Suite 302' combines traditionally feminine and masculine scents, starting with a burst of ripe black cherry and a surprising hint of red pepper. The heart features romantic violet and rose, while the base introduces a daring mix of black leather and tobacco.
Victoria Beckham reminisced about her time in California while describing San Ysidro Drive: "It signifies a time in my life that was full of new beginnings and self-discovery whilst living in California. It was revitalising, calming, peaceful.. and I think we captured that essence with this fragrance with an intense rush of passion fruit and pink peony, ocean air infused with rich rose absolute, saffron flower and agarwood, and black amber and vanilla."

A second said, " I loved two of the four fragrances and then ordered one of them with the discount code. I have a very hard time finding fragrances that I love how they smell on me, so finding two that I loved in this set was a huge win."
A third person added, "These fragrances are unique, long-lasting, and have layers. I like the sample size and being able to try before buying the full bottle."
However, some people have complained that the scents are "too masculine." "I had high expectations on these perfumes, but they were way too masculine," one person said. "I gave them to my husband."
If you aren't convinced, there are other perfume collections inspired by moments in time, places, or feelings that are slightly more affordable. Charlotte Tilbury's Collection of Emotions is said to evoke different feelings and has been specifically crafted with them in mind. They start at £20 for a 10ml bottle, and Joyphoria is our personal favourite.
