Kendall and Kylie Jenner are a power duo that fashion enthusiasts can’t get enough of. The sisters recently walked the red carpet together at the 2024 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. Kendall and Kylie turned heads as they donned structured gowns with huge cutouts. Moreover, their contrasting outfits were from two separate designers.

As per Elle, Kendall Jenner opted for a black velvet Schiaparelli halter gown for the star-studded event. The body-hugging fit was extra sultry as it included dramatic cutouts on the bodice. Besides, a shiny silver brooch in the middle enhanced the floor-length dress’ off-the-shoulder neckline. The back of the gown was equally glamorous as it featured a slit, giving a glimpse at Kendall’s open-toe black heels.

Meanwhile, Kendall’s stunning blonde tresses were styled in a classic Marilyn Monroe-inspired soft curls hairstyle. Besides that, the 28-year-old kept her accessories minimal and opted for a pair of diamond earrings that matched the glammed-up neckline.

According to Elle, Kendall’s sister, Kylie Jenner, slipped into an eye-catching Thierry Mugler gown from the 1998 collection. The semi-sheer fit included a nude bodice covered in sequins, which continued to seamlessly attach to the fitted black skirt featuring huge hip cutouts. The 27-year-old wore her black hair down, styling it in soft waves. Like her sister, Kylie also opted for a minimalist style and sported a pair of diamond earrings. The makeup mogul completed her look with pointy-toed black heels and a nude manicure.

While Kendall and Kylie’s red carpet looks were contrasting, the black tone added a hint of harmony to their ensembles. Following their attendance at the event, Kylie took to her Instagram to celebrate the sisters’ night. The reel included behind-the-scenes of reality TV icons taking over the red carpet together. Several fans then swooned over the stars in the Instagram post’s comments section as they left appreciative comments like “Kendall in her Marilyn Monroe era” and “Kylie is victory.”
