Kerry Katona has addressed rumours that she has split from her fiancé Ryan Maloney.
The 44-year-old reality TV favourite shocked fans when she appeared to announce on social media that she was single. However, it turns out she hasn't actually broken up with her fiancé of six years.
Kerry has revealed that she only made the statement to give her mum Sue a giggle. The star's mother is, sadly, in hospital after suffering from blood clots and other health problems.

But Kerry admits that she and Ryan do have "hard times" and "ups and downs" just like any other couple. She even confessed that they're hanging on "by the skin of our teeth" in their relationship.
Speaking in OK!, she said: "I’m sure you’ll have all read the 'news’ about me splitting up with Ryan after I flippantly said I was single on my Instagram to make my mum laugh. It was a throwaway comment that I made between my mum, my best friend Danielle and me but it all spiralled out of control.
"If you watch the video on my Instagram, you can hear us talking to the doctor and Danielle left a funny comment underneath asking if he was single. To try and cheer my mum up, I said that I was – but with a laughing face.
"I made a joke but, like any couple, Ryan and I do have hard times and our ups and downs. Sometimes we’re just hanging on by the skin of our teeth but that’s often what happens in a relationship. We’ve got a lot more than usual to deal with at the moment, like the kids at home, outside drama and looking after my poorly mum."
Kerry also issued an update on her mum's health, admitting it's been a "particularly difficult few days" after being by her side in hospital. She said Sue has been moved from a private pod to a ward which is a good sign. However, unfortunately her body "isn't coping" when they remove oxygen, so they need to take it "one step at a time".
She's also revealed that she's realised she has "unresolved issues" from her past that's resulted in a lot of anger and her not dealing with situations at home as well as she could. Kerry said she's looking into getting a good therapist to help her address problems in her past, such as her relationship with ex George Kay.
