Kerry Katona has revealed her excitement for an upcoming facelift. The former Atomic Kitten star, who's been feeling down after her split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney, is buzzing about her new look on the horizon, thanks to a nip and tuck with her trusted London surgeon.
Writing in her OK! column, she said: "I had my lower facelift consultation last week at Pall Mall Medical, which went really well. I'm very excited about it and feel I'm at that age where I can get tweaks done If I want to."
She's also clapped back at any potential naysayers about her cosmetic surgery decision, stating: "I know people can be judgemental, but at the end of the day it's my face and my body so it's not really anyone else's business. I trust my doctor, Dr Raghavan, completely and would never go anywhere else. I can't wait to see the results!" The mum-of-five, who recently hit the stage for a panto in Northwich Memorial Court, near Chester, alongside her BFF Katie Price as the wicked stepsisters in Cinderella, first teased her makeover plans last September.
She credited Katie, a veteran of six facelifts, as her inspiration for going under the knife: "I'm so excited to say that I'm heading for a consultation for a lower facelift at Pall Mall Medical! After seeing Katie Price and how amazing she looks after her facelift, it has inspired me to do the same," Kerry revealed, reports the Mirror.
The 44-year-old dished: "I've really been noticing the skin around my neck recently and I just want everything lifted." Granted, she's got nerves tingling over the op, confessing, "Don't get me wrong, I'm s*****g myself to do it, but I always get like that with procedures - I know it will be worth it."
On the mate score, she celebrated her bestie's support, saying, "Katie is going to come to stay with me when I get it done for moral support, which I really appreciate. She'd had the procedure done before, so she knows what I'll be going through and will be able to ease my nerves and anxiety, while helping during my recovery too."
Kerry and Katie turned solid mates after their I'm A Celeb stint (Katie finished in fifth place and Kerry was crowned Queen of the Jungle) and have been seen painting the town red lately – Kerry leaning on Katie following a tough break up they spent much of the festive season together.
