Kerry has broken her silence on her split from Ryan

Kerry Katona has been left heartbroken after splitting from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney, opening up about the painful break-up to fans. In her exclusive column with new, she shared that their engagement was over following a "breach of trust." Coping with the aftermath, the 44 year old former Atomic Kitten singer said she felt like she's grieving: "I've been feeling very up and down since Ryan moved out, it's not been easy," admitting that, "He was my best friend so I'm adjusting to not having him around, it feels a bit like a death, which I know may sound dramatic but it's mourning all the things you did together. It's hard but I'm sure I'll get there."

The couple has had a rollercoaster relationship since getting engaged in 2021 with plans to wed in Las Vegas dramatically called off. The sparks first flew when they matched on Bumble back in 2018, yet troubles brewed recently with Kerry confessing they'd been arguing 'like cat and dog', as reported by OK!. Rows were frequent, including issues surrounding her OnlyFans work causing friction. Now, with 36 year old fitness guru Ryan moving out, it appears their once-promising love story has reached its final chapter.

Kerry Katona, who shares the role of co-director of Kerry Katona Ltd with Ryan, has opened up about her emotional turmoil: "He got the last of his stuff this week so I've just been trying to process it all, I really didn't think we'd ever split up. Like any break-up, I think I just need time." She also revealed the complexity of their professional entanglement, saying, "We are business partners so that side of it is difficult to navigate too, we're currently sorting out the work side of things through a mediator."

Just last week, the mum-of-five confided in her column for new magazine about her struggles as she comes to terms with the end of their six-year relationship. Despite earlier indications that they were working things out, Kerry disclosed that Ryan had moved out of their Cheshire home following a "breach of trust". She explained: "Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house. We are no longer together and It's been a really tough week - I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us."

Despite the heartache, Kerry added that she still "loves him so much." She admitted to feeling overwhelmed by recent events: "I feel like everything has heaped on recently and it's so much to deal with, I am really struggling. But I know I can get through it no matter what happens. I've been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens."

Kerry Katona's dramatic split from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney made waves after the former I'm A Celeb champ declared herself 'single' on Instagram, sparking rumours of a breakup. The plot thickened when Kerry, visiting her mum Sue in hospital, who was admitted due to blood clots in her lungs, engaged in a cheeky banter with a fan.

Asked if her mum's doctor was single, Kerry quipped: "No, but I am! " Later, she clarified on Instagram that it was all a "joke between me, my mum and best friend" about the handsome doc. Before this incident, Kerry, mother to Mollu, Lilly-Sue, Heidi, Max, and DJ, opened up about her rocky relationship with Ryan, admitting to constant bickering and saying: "Ryan and I have been arguing like cat and dog too so we've not had the best time. We're not in a great place at the moment. I do like to be honest when things are like this, though, because no one is perfect and everyone has their issues. I'd much rather be real about it."
