RHOBH Season 14: Kyle Richards Says Dorit Kemsley Feud Ends ‘On a High Note’

Truce? Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley have been thick as thieves for years. Well, until the last season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Amid marital drama and/or maybe just being sick of each other, Kyle and Dorit had a falling out. That feud has now carried over to Season 14 of the hit franchise.

The castmates wasted no time going after each other in the premiere episode. But maybe there’s hope for them yet.

Rebuilding a friendship

Kyle recently spoke with Life & Style and had a surprising update about where she stands with Dorit.

“It has been bumpy. You will definitely see that throughout the season, but I think we ended on a high note, and I do think we’ll keep pushing forward,” Kyle teased. “There’s a lot of love there!”

In the same interview, Dorit backed up Kyle’s sentiment. “This season you’re just seeing us face the issues that we’ve had for a while now. What I hope for Kyle and I in the future is that we can overcome our issues and that we both want a stronger friendship,” the fashionista explained.

This is a quick turnaround from Dorit’s comments just a few days ago. “The only problem is that for Kyle and I, she hadn’t been somebody that I could lean on for a sustained period of time,” she shared. “And that was the issue. So going into this season, there was a lot of stuff that was left unsaid.”

“And I had felt like — for a sustained period of time, for a good couple of years — there was a fracture in mine and Kyle’s friendship that felt very disingenuous,” Dorit added.

The tension between the longtime friends came to a breaking point surrounding the RHOBH Season 13 reunion.

Dorit received a text from Kyle, essentially asking her to keep her lip zipped about Kyle’s personal problems. The Beverly Beach designer did the exact opposite, showing the text to castmate Erika Jayne before they took the stage. At the time, Dorit called the text “manipulative” and “calculated.”
