After months of drama and numerous visits from law enforcement, Kim Zolciak is ready to “take the high road” with her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann. The news comes just days after the cops showed up at their foreclosed-upon mansion to help them peacefully remove some of the final items in the house. Now, Kim is catching flights and looking ahead to a bright future.

Although Kim is facing wage garnishment over an unpaid credit card bill, TMZ caught up with her at the airport of all places. It’s not clear where she could have been going, but the paps asked her about the frequent conflicts with Kroy. She said it’s been “torture” because of Kroy’s “controlling” behavior.
For context, the last time the cops showed up at their house, Kroy blocked the driveway with his car to try to prevent a moving truck from leaving. Before that, he accused her of stealing security cameras and trying to take things from the house that didn’t belong to her.
Then, the paparazzi asked her how she plans on moving on from this. For now, she said she isn’t dating anyone, and she’s hoping to just focus on herself. A few therapy sessions probably won’t hurt either.
“It’s going to take me a long time to heal from the trauma that I’ve experienced,” Kim admitted.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star said that Kroy had been extremely “controlling” in their relationship, but she hesitated to take too many shots at her estranged husband. According to Kim, she wants to do what’s best for their kids.
“I’m going to take the high road. I’m not gonna sit here and do what Kroy tried to do me,” Kim said, adding that his behavior was “bizarre.”
She continued, “It’s all good. I wish Kroy well, and I hope he’s happy for my kids’ sake.”
