During a recent Instagram Live stream, Kodak Black admitted that he is "never sober."
At one point during the stream, seen in the clip shared on social media below, Kodak highlighted that a user in the chat suggested that they love seeing the South Florida rapper sober.
"Bitch, I ain't sober. I look sober? I'm never sober, bitch," he said after reading the comment out loud. "For what? Look at this money. Look at all this cash. Sober for what? I'm too young to die sober."
Earlier this year, Kodak vowed to stop performing his track "Super Gremlin" as part of his sobriety journey. He admitted that he once took as many as 100 Percocet tablets during a day and was "scared to be sober." Despite the worrying admission, he added that "for the most part" he was sober.
More recently, he drew criticism after he appeared to take a pill during an appearance on Kai Cenat's Twitch stream. When fans grew concerned by his behavior, Kodak responded by calling them "butt hurt" and admitted that he took "one Perc" on camera.
“If a motherfucker needed help, y'all wouldn’t think I knew that? I don't need you to tell me. What telling me doing for you?” he said. "I don't need you to tell me. What telling me doing for you? ... Ain't nobody in this world perfect. Everybody got some kind of vice, even if it ain't drugs."
He also appeared in an episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game, during which the hosts spoke from the heart to remind Kodak that there are people in his life counting on him.
