Court documents obtained recently outline serious allegations against former One Direction singer Liam Payne, with claims that he sent a series of explicit photos and videos of himself to his ex-girlfriend Maya Henry and her family.
These allegations, revealed in a cease-and-desist letter filed by Henry's legal team, also suggest Payne attempted to involve others in distributing intimate images of his ex-partner.
Disturbing claims revealed about Liam Payne
According to the letter, dated October 9, the accusations surfaced when an acquaintance of Payne reached out to Henry, warning her about the singer's behavior.
The woman, who said she had known Payne for years, alleged he had been "blowing up my phone recently" and had offered to send nude images of both Henry and his current partner.
She declined the offer but felt compelled to alert Henry.
The documents suggest Payne, 31, sent Henry's family X-rated content, which reportedly included images of his genitals and videos of him performing what were described as "disturbing sexual acts."
The cease-and-desist letter from Henry's attorney, Marco A. Crawford, calls for Payne to immediately cease any form of harassment, with the threat of legal action if he continues.
"This letter will serve as formal notice," Crawford wrote.
"Should you violate any of the above statutes or defame, threaten, harass, or intimidate our client or her family, legal action will follow."
The letter reportedly gave Payne 10 days to respond in writing.
On October 16, seven days after the letter was filed, Payne died tragically after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
Witnesses reported that the singer had been acting erratically in the hours leading up to his death, fueling speculation that drugs may have played a role.
The investigation into his death is ongoing, with two individuals, Brian Nahuel Paiz and Rogelio Nores, identified as persons of interest.
Both men have denied involvement in Payne's death, though Paiz acknowledged having used drugs with Payne previously.
With Payne's death still under investigation, Henry's legal team has not confirmed any further action.
