Lil Baby just shared how excited he is about a new feature from 21 Savage.
The rapper hopped on X with a short, but telling, message about an upcoming song that he’s preparing to release with 21 Savage. “I think I got @21savage hardest verse ever 😮💨😮💨” wrote Lil Baby.
Though Lil Baby didn’t hint at when we’ll hear this new collab, chances are that it’ll be sooner than later thanks to the rapper’s recently announcing that he has a new album on the way. On Nov. 14, Lil Baby released “5AM” as the lead single from his upcoming project WHAM: Who Hard As Me as well as the song “Insecurities.”
Lil Baby’s new album, which is his first release since 2022’s It’s Only Me, gets its title from a Young Thug tweet posted in June. In it, Thug wrote, “Whatever Wham say goes,” referencing Lil Baby.
Lil Baby recently posted footage of himself shooting the video for “5AM” and shared how wild of a time that he’s had over recent years as he gears up for the release of the new album. “Ain’t it crazy how they tryna play me like i ain’t the one!!! It’s that time! I would say again, but this run will be totally different!!” he wrote. “I had the darkest period of my life these last two years, but I stayed down and overcame that sh—t now I’m back to f—kin sh—t up as usual…, Sincerely, Wham!! Who hard as me. Let’s go.”
Though we don’t know have many details about the album outside of the name, it looks like it has the potential to be a star-studded affair. Last week, Lil Baby was spotted in the studio with Travis Scott, Future, and a freshly-released from prison Young Thug.
