Former Grammy nominee Lily Allen and Stranger Things star David Harbour have been married since 2020 but there's been speculation in recent weeks that they have split up

Lily Allen's marriage to David Harbour has attracted attention in recent weeks amid split rumours

Singer-songwriter Lily Allen's four-year marriage to actor David Harbour is said to have been "crumbling".

There has been speculation that Lily, 39, has split from her husband David, 49, for weeks now, though neither of them have confirmed that they have parted ways. It's been claimed though that Stranger Things star David "broke up" with her at the end of last year.

More recently, it was reported that podcast host Lily had checked into a "residential retreat" in the US. Then earlier this week, the Brit Award winner was seen out in California in photos shared with fans on social media.

Following the new post, it's been reported that her marriage to David - whom she's said to have met on dating app Raya in 2019 - has been "crumbling". A source told People: "Her marriage has been crumbling and they have split."

The comment comes following Lily's return to Instagram on Monday after a brief absence. She shared photos of herself out in Beverly Hills and wrote: "No context just vibes." It is thought to be the first time that she has been seen since reportedly checking into a "residential retreat" weeks ago.

It was confirmed last month that Lily would be taking a "short break" from her podcast Miss Me? and that her co-host Miquita Oliver would be joined by celebrity pals for several episodes through to February 3rd's episode. Signing out of one episode, Lily said: "I'll see you on the other side. Hopefully I'll be in a better place."

She had previously announced that she would take some time away from the job in an episode released days prior on January 9. Lily spoke on the episode about not being in a "good place," but she didn't confirm the apparent split.

Lily shared: "I'm finding it really hard to be interested in anything. I'm just so ... I'm really not in a good place. I know I've been talking about it for months but I've been spiralling and spiralling. [...] I went to see something at the theatre the other night with [friends] and I had to leave at half time."

She added: "Just can't concentrate on anything except the pain that I'm going through. It's really hard." Lily continued: "I'm going away next week. You're not going to hear me for a few weeks, listeners." She went on to assure supporters that she was not going to "drug rehab," with the podcast host suggesting that there could be speculation about that because of the amount of time she would be "taking away".
