Married at First Sight stars Tasha Jay and Paul Liba have announced that they have split up.
The pair were matched on the 2023 series of the E4 show, meeting at the altar and tying the knot, and fans were thrilled when their marriage continued after the cameras stopped rolling. But they have now revealed that their relationship has run its course a year after the programme.
The pair both said that there wasn’t any big reason for their marriage ending, but that they'd realised they were “not right for each other”.

Posting on her Instagram Story, Tasha said that she and Paul would stay friends despite the break-up.
"It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that Paul and I have decided to part ways,” said the Married at First Sight star. “There isn’t any major reason, we have just come to terms with the fact that we are not right for each other.
"Paul is the loveliest guy I’ve ever met and I’m grateful for the time we’ve shared together and I’m glad that we can remain friends. I’m utterly heartbroken that I’m having to write this post, but it is best for both of us.”

Paul shared the same statement on his own Instagram Story, with the line in which Tasha had referred to him being the “loveliest guy” changed to a compliment about her.
“Tasha is the most loving and caring woman I’ve ever met and I’m grateful for the time we’ve shared together and I’m glad that we can remain friends,” he said.
Tasha and Paul had been a popular couple on the reality TV show, with viewers at the time posting messages on social media calling them “beautiful together” and saying they hoped the romance would go the distance.
