Married At First Sight star rushed to hospital as she says she's 'never felt pain like it'

A Married At First Sight UK celeb has candidly spoken out about their harrowing hospital ordeal, confessing the agony was unlike anything they'd ever experienced.

Tasha Jay, who found romance with Paul Liba on the E4 series in 2023, disclosed her emergency hospital visit due to a health fright but is now convalescing at home. On Instagram, she alarmed followers by posting a photo from her hospital bed, stomach bared and giving a thumbs up.

She captioned it: "It's never ending" – this led her to swiftly quash any baby rumours from fans. After the initial post, she clarified: "Guys if I was trying to hide a pregnancy do you think I'd post it on my story. You can have ultrasounds for things other than pregnancy don't wish no baby all up in my womb."

Not long after sharing her hospital trip, Tasha updated her 112,000 fans from home, revealing that doctors diagnosed her with stomach ulcers and expressing the intense pain she endured.

Encouraging fans to sign up to OK's TV newsletter for free updates, she added: "**Update** Hey guys thank you all for your sweet messages. I am out of hospital now after doctors found out that i have stomach ulcers I've never felt pain like it," and continued, "Honestly I'm not 100% but we move couldn't let the kids down for Halloween tonight so if I turn up at you door asking for a KitKat then sensational times."

Tasha, a star from Married At First Sight, recently opened up about how the show has transformed her life, reports OK! She took to Instagram last month to share: "Married At First Sight changed my life. I found my person, I have some amazing new best friends, so many incredible opportunities and I have come across some sensational people in my life and I will be forever grateful for that."

Earlier in May, Tasha and Jay had a chat with OK! at the BAFTA TV Awards in London, where they revealed the secret behind their enduring relationship.

"I feel like we were just so real with each other and we were genuine about it. There was no lies, there was no manipulation. It was just us wanting to find love and that's exactly what we got," she expressed.
