The RTÉ legend's life has changed completely after his only daughter Jessica welcomed her first baby back in the spring.

Marty told RSVP Live: "We have a grandchild now, so our life has changed completely.
"Christmas will have a whole different vibe for us at home.
"But she is still very small so she is not going to know that it is Christmas yet. She is our Christmas gift."
Marty and his wife Maria will welcome their adult kids Jessica and Thomas home for dinner in Malahide on Christmas Day.
The Eurovision commentator said: "We will all be at home. The new grandchild and all, we will all be together."
Lily's presence over Christmas has injected a new spark into the festive season for them as a family and they have all been busy shopping for the little one.
Marty said: "Her arrival has added a new bit of magic into our lives at home hence the purchase of various fabulous presents."
One of Marty's favourite Christmas traditions is going to see The Gaiety Panto every year, and this year it is Peter Pan. Marty is also hosting Christmas carols in Christmas in Kildare alongside Celine Byrne featuring some of the biggest names in Irish music including Paul Noonan from Bell X1, Lisa Hannigan, Kingfishr and Grammy Award winner, Rhiannon Giddens to name a few.
He said: "Joe Conlan is a legend. And, as you know, it is no ordinary panto.
"For me, he makes the show so special. He is fabulous and I love him to bits in his role as Nana.
"He plays for the adults as well, not just the children."
