Late Tuesday night, a video surfaced online chock full of new Marvel information, and it was hidden in the most Marvel way ever. On the eve of the Agatha All Along finale, Marvel snuck (or mistakenly released) a long montage of footage, and release dates (or windows) for every Marvel show coming to Disney+ for the rest of this year and through all of 2025.
Let’s run it down.
- What If…? Season 3 – December 22
- Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man – January 25
- Daredevil Born Again – March 4
- Ironheart – June 24
- Eyes of Wakanda – August 6
- Marvel Zombies – October 2025
- Wonder Man – December 2025
A few of those, like Daredevil, had already been out there, but others, like Ironheart and Wonder Man, had not.
So let’s go beat by beat here. The footage (which, at least as of publication, you could see in front of Agatha All Along episode 1 by clicking here) starts with Daredevil: Born Again, our first official look at the show. We see Matt (Charlie Cox), Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and even a hallway fight scene. Great stuff.
Next is Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man which is mostly about that old-school comic book animated style. That’s followed by Ironheart, which basically no one outside of D23 Expo had seen much of. We get a little bit of everyone there and a lot of Riri (Dominique Thorne) in her new suit. Her flying through the streets, throwing punches, it all looks like big-screen movie stuff.
What If…? season 3 and Marvel Zombies are both quick hits with only a handful of shots, but that’s okay, cause they preceded the biggest moment. No one anywhere has seen any footage of Wonder Man starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. It’s a show that had a lot of starts and stops due to strikes and more but looks incredibly fun. There’s even the reveal, for most of us, that Ben Kingsley will reprise his Iron Man 3 and Shang Chi role as actor Trevor Slattery. Together it has big buddy cop, 48 Hours or Midnight Run vibes.
Things wrap up with the first public footage of Eyes of Wakanda, which looks truly special, followed by the big release date montage.
We’re guessing, since this also has the reveal of Deadpool & Wolverine’s Disney+ debut date, this footage was meant to release after Agatha All Along on Wednesday but, it’s out there, and there’s much to discuss. Please do so below. What are you most excited about? Will these shows pair well with the movies coming to theaters like Captain America, Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four?
