Conor Loftus’ fiancée Roisin Cryan, 28, has sadly died as her heartbroken family paid tribute to her.
She was originally from County Leitrim, but was living in Ballina, County Mayo, and passed away on Saturday, 11 January.
Her fiancé Conor was due to play in the GAA Intermediate Championship Club Final with Crossmolina Deelrovers today, 12 January, however, the match has been postponed after the tragedy.

Roisin is survived by her parents, Joe and Marguerite Cryan, siblings, Annmarie, Clare, Ruth and Maeve, and her fiancé Conor.
Her funeral notice says: “Róisín will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family.
“Forever cherished daughter of Joe and Marguerite, loving fiancé Conor Loftus, adored sisters Annmarie, Clare, Ruth and Maeve, Clare’s fiancé Eugene, the Loftus family, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and a large circle of friends
“Pre-deceased by grandparents William and Mai Cryan, Bernard and Annie Donohue, her cousin Michael, aunt Mary and uncle Hughie.”
People paid their respects to the family as they sent their thoughts and prayers.
One mourner wrote: “Sincere sympathy to Joe, Marguerite, Annmarie, Clare, Ruth, Maeve, Conor and all the Cryan Donoghue and Loftus families on the sad death of Roisin. May her gentle soul rest in peace.”
A second person said: “Rest in peace Roisín. Devastating news, so heartbreaking for Roisín’s family & fiancè. May God give you all the comfort & strength to cope.”
A third commenter shared: “Sending my deepest sympathy and love to Ruth and to all the Cryan/Loftus family at such a difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May Roisin RIP”.
While another sympathiser penned: “Deepest sympathy to Joe, Marguerite, Annmarie, Clare, Ruth, Maeve, Fiancé Conor and the Cryan family on the death of your beautiful Roisin.
