Actress Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly have confirmed they are expecting a child together.
Posting a photo with her bump, Megan said: "Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back." The 37-year-old star was covered in black paint for the photoshoot as she cradled her bump. She added an angel and heart emoji to her caption as well as another photo showing a positive pregnancy test.
Megan is already a proud mum of three to sons Noah, 10, Bodhi, nine, and Journey, six, with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. Her pregnancy announcement marks her first child with Machine Gun Kelly - real name Colson Baker. It also comes a year after the couple revealed they had suffered a miscarriage.
Megan opened up about suffering a miscarriage at 10 weeks in her book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous last year. In the last two poems in the book Megan appeared to address feelings of grief following a miscarriage. The poems - titled I and II - detail the loss in several emotional lines.
She penned: “There is an ultrasound by your side of the bed, 10 weeks and 1 day … do you think that if she could have, she would have left a suicide note? But now I have to say goodbye. I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides.”
During an interview on Good Morning America, Megan said she had "never been through anything like that before in my life". She explained: "It was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate, 'What does this mean? Why did this happen?'."
Back in July, Megan sported a baby bump in MGKs 'Lonely Road' music video, sparking rumours that she might be expecting. However, an insider told Us Weekly: "Although they have discussed having a baby, this was just for MGK's music video." In the video, Kelly was seen lovingly kissing and cradling Megan's baby bump, fuelling speculation about a possible pregnancy.
Despite the rumours, both Megan and Kelly - father to Casie, 14, with Emma Cannon - remained silent on the matter. The couple, who went public with their relationship in 2020, have had their share of ups and downs. Earlier this year, a source revealed that the pair were "trying to work through their issues".
Megan concerned fans last year when star erased all traces of her rapper fiancé in the February, fuelling talk that she may have ended their engagement. Yet, in spite of the tension, the duo was reported to have resumed their relationship just a few months later and underwent couples counselling.
Chatting with Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast in March this year, Megan confirmed that their engagement had indeed been called off, saying it was "accurate," yet clarified that it didn't necessarily mean they were completely done.
