Megan Fox is preparing to welcome her fourth child
The 38-year-old actress is currently pregnant with her fourth baby, and her first with her former fiance Machine Gun Kelly - and Megan is determined to focus on her unborn baby, rather than drama in her love life.
A source told PEOPLE: "They tried to make things work for many years. It was exhausting for Megan.
"She's done with him now. She just wants to focus on the baby and her boys now."
The Hollywood star - who already has Noah, 12, Bodhi, ten, and Journey, eight, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green - "doesn't have much contact" with the 'Wild Boy' hitmaker, even though they're expecting a child together.
However, Megan is feeling upbeat ahead of welcoming her fourth child.
The insider said: "She lives alone and doesn't have much contact with Machine Gun Kelly. She's doing okay. She's very excited about the baby."
Megan and Kelly, 34 - whose real name is Colson Baker - met for the first time on the set of 'Midnight in the Switchgrass', the 2021 crime thriller film.
In January 2022, Megan took to social media to announce their engagement, and to reflect on the journey they've been through together.
In the caption, Megan - who previously suffered a miscarriage - wrote on Instagram: "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."
