This autumn there is one piece of outerwear that’s become a wardrobe staple – a suede jacket. Whether you prefer a cropped trucker style or a longer trench coat, as long as it comes in suede you can consider us a fan. That’s why it’s not surprising that Ducie’s brown suede Corrin trench coat has been a major hit with celebs like Molly-Mae Hague and Rochelle Humes.
But at £1070 it’s definitely a splurge. Thankfully, we found an alternative that’s under £50 thanks to Boohoo, and it’s perfect for nailing the celebs’ style on a budget. The Vintage Look Suede Trench Coat currently has 25% off, slashing it from £65 to £48.75 and is currently still available in all sizes.

Coming in sizes 8 to 16, the Boohoo suede trench coat is the perfect choice for autumn. It may be trending right now, but it’s classic silhouette and chocolate brown colour make it a timeless addition to your wardrobe, and you know you’ll be able to wear it year after year for just about any occasion.
The Boohoo version is, of course, made from faux suede unlike the Ducie one, which is real suede-finished leather. However, it still has a distinctly luxe-looking edge, and the faux suede material is what gives it its budget-friendly price tag.
It has a classic shape, with a lapel collar and three-button fastening down the front. It also has a boxy oversized silhouette that’s perfect for layering over everything from chunky knitwear to slinky mini dresses.

Boohoo)It’s below-the-knee hemline makes it great for keeping you warm whilst wearing with mini skirts and dresses, but is still short enough to show off your knee high boots – another autumn essential. Seamed details a brushed finish make it look far more expensive than its bargain price tag, and it has two all-important side pockets that are perfect for keeping your essentials close by or your hands warm.
Boohoo also offered another gorgeous alternative that looked almost identical to the celeb-loved Ducie coat, however the Vintage Suede Look Trench Coat is currently completely sold out in all sizes. It was discounted from £70 to £52, and had a similar chocolate colour and classic trench coat details like shoulder flaps and a waist belt.
If you want almost exactly the same look as Molly-Mae and Rochelle, it may be worth hanging on to see if it’s restocked, however the other Boohoo suede trench makes a gorgeous alternative that’s classy and timeless.
Other options include Anthology’s Elevated Trench Coat, £98, which has the iconic trench coat shape and design, and comes in a gorgeous chocolate brown colour. It may not come in suede, but this also means its lower maintenance to keep clean and looking as good as new.
