Erika Jayne Calls Out Homophobia in Calling Someone ‘Gay Like It’s a Bad Thing’ After RHOC Husband Drama

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne is saying time’s up on homophobia.

For years now there have been rumors about Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge’s husband and his sexuality. There have been rumors that Eddie Judge is in an ongoing relationship with a man. Jennifer Pedranti’s fiancé Ryan Boyajian loves to fling accusations about Eddie’s sexual orientation as a deflection away from himself and his problems.

Erika has had enough of the hate and is calling for an end to talking about anyone’s sexuality. Not only is it no one else’s business, but being gay is not a “bad” thing. Erika’s tired of hearing people shamed for their sexual preference. It’s just not okay.

It’s time for an end to all the homophobia

On November 23, Erika visited Teddi Mellencamp on her Two Ts in a Pod podcast (partner Tamra was AWOL that day). When Teddi began, “Tamra was upset that Ryan called Eddie gay …,” Erika interrupted her.

“I wanna say something,” the Expensive to Be Me singer said. “We have to stop calling people gay. Quit it. Stop it.”

“There’s nothing wrong with being with being gay if you are gay,” Erika continued. “But there is something wrong with saying, ‘Oh, you know he’s gay,’ like it’s a bad thing. F*cking quit it … I’m tired of it.”

“And the thing is,” Teddi added, “if somebody is gay and they’re living in a marriage, it doesn’t matter.”

“It’s none of your f*cking business,” Erika emphasized. “Stop all that. People’s sexuality is their sexuality. It is not your sexuality.”

Teddi captioned the TikTok clip, “We’ve had enough of using ‘gay’ as an insult towards a Househusband. Do you agree that this tactic needs to stop?”

It’s time for some tolerance and acceptance

The point is, who cares whether or not Eddie’s gay? The rumors have been circulating for years, but what does it matter? Honestly, I don’t want to hear what goes on in my straight friends’ bedrooms, and I don’t care what my gay friends are up to either. That’s their private business.

I like Eddie. He’s a good guy, and he’s good for Tamra. But there’s no love lost between Ryan and Eddie. Ryan’s accusations are ridiculous and just make him look worse than he already does. Eddie and Tamra are obviously happy together. Just let them live their lives.

Real Housewives of Orange County is currently streaming on Peacock.
