Netflix star undergoes major glow-up that fans speculate as 'wifey effect'

Love Is Blind science sweethearts Taylor and Garrett are keeping viewers on their toes as Taylor hints she may have been behind Garrett’s glow-up, or was she?

This seasons favorite couple on Love Is Blind are clean energy policy consultant Taylor Krause and quantum physicist Garrett Josemans. This sweet pair of nerds, from different backgrounds, fell in love sight unseen from a shared love of all things science. As fans patiently wait until the season finale, on October 23, to find out if these two chemically-bonded for life, Taylor drops a social media hint the pair might be still together.

Crowned the cutest couple these scholars were one of the first to fall in love on the show. Bonded by chance with a pair of matching scientific tattoos!

Of course the Love Is Blind cast are keeping tight-lipped, to avoid any spoilers, about whether this couple are still two positively charged ions floating in a romantic sea of electrons.

The show is, of course, trying to hint that all is not well. Previews of the next episode show Taylor crying at the upcoming pod reunion party. Apparently, Garrett has been texting his ex. Whether this is a deal-breaker or dramatic editing, fans are eager to find out.

As of the beginning of season 7 Garrett follows Taylor on Instagram, but not the other way around. However, some shared vacation photos hint that the pair may have taken a European getaway together.

On October 12, Taylor released another sneaky hint on TikTok that the pair may still be together. Wearing shades she looks shiftily from left to right while the video displays the caption: “But was it me?”

Moving her head to the side revealed a picture of a new and glowed-up Garrett with longer hair perfectly quaffed and smoldering into the camera.

‘Compliments to the chef’

To keep fans guessing, however, the caption of the video reads: “Breakup glow up or Wifey effect?”

One fan responded to the video: “Someone marinated, seasoned, sautéed, and COOKED! You did your thing.”

To which Taylor hinted she may have been the chef of this particular dish with a cheeky: “Compliments to the chef.”

The environmentalist is not letting us have it that easy though. In response to another commenter insisting it must be the “wifey effect” as “nobody is posting their ex fiancé’s glow up.”

Taylor is adamant, actually she would: “I would agree.. but it’s not very normal to have an ex from a reality show and have your whole engagement on Netflix. We need a little humor! Every ex I’ve ever had good or bad I wish them well.”

Come on Taylor, give the fans something!

Another fan did some of the investigative work for us, in another video uploaded to TikTok the user shared how she believes this is in fact 100% wifey-effect.

Her evidence being: Taylor repeatedly teased Garrett about not-liking his hair on the show. In response Garrett said he would do “literally anything to make Taylor happy.”

Well, this wifey’s effect on the nation is certainly to make viewers tune in to the finale on Netflix, so they can find out what happens.
