Nick Kroll has joined the cast of the Broadway show All In: Comedy About Love.
The comedian and Big Mouth co-creator will join the rotating cast from Jan. 14 through Feb. 2, acting alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda, Aidy Bryant, Andrew Rannells and Jimmy Fallon. He replaces previously announced cast member Sam Richardson.
The play kicks off with John Mulaney from Dec. 11 through Jan. 12 and other cast members including Fred Armisen, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Richard Kind and Chloe Fineman. All In: Comedy About Love runs at the Hudson Theatre through Feb. 16, with an official opening night on Dec. 22.
The show, written by Simon Rich and directed by Alex Timbers, features a series of humorous stories about dating, heartbreak, marriage and more, adapted from short stories written by Rich that had previously appeared in The New Yorker.
Musical duo The Bengsons (Abigail and Shaun Bengson) will be performing songs from The Magnetic Fields during the show.
Seaview and Lorne Michaels are producing the play with New Yorker Studios.
The creative team will include David Korins (scenic designer), Jake DeGroot (lighting designer), Jennifer Moeller (costume designer), Peter Hylenski (sound designer), Lucy MacKinnon (projection designer), and Kris Kukul (music director). New Yorker cartoonist Emily Flake will be creating illustrations for the production.
