Members of One Direction were all present as former bandmate Liam Payne was laid to rest at his funeral on Wednesday.

Payne's closest friends and family gathered in England's Home Counties, including Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.

It was the first time the former One Direction bandmates had gotten together in nine years, as they paid respect to their late friend. The ceremony took place a month after Payne's fatal fall in Argentina a month ago.

Styles was the first to arrive, while Tomlinson made his way in soon after, followed by Malik and Horan moments later. All four arrived separately and wore sunglasses for the occasion.

The four were not seen interacting before entering the church, though Tomlinson and Malik did have a word while outside.

Simon Cowell, who was among the judges in the 'X Factor' that helped discover the group, was also spotted at the funeral accompanied by fiancee Lauren Silverman.

Payne's casket arrived via a horse-drawn carriage before being carried inside.

After the service was complete, Horan and Styles were spotted together at one point. Horan was also seen walking while holding hands with girlfriend Amelia Wooley.

Payne passed away at the age of 31 last month after falling from a third-story balcony while vacationing in Argentina.

Each of the former One Direction members shared tributes to their fallen bandmate on their personal Instagram pages, as well as the group's official page.

"We're completely devastated by the news of Liam's passing," they said in a statement.
