Piers Morgan Uncensored: Host celebrates channel's success

As Oasis prepares to travel the globe for their  upcoming reunion world tour, many made calls for other iconic bands including Blur and Spice Girls to follow suit and announce new shows.

While neither bands have any tour dates scheduled, it's unlikely that the sensational 90s girl group will perform together again after a shock “fallout.”

The Spice Girls haven’t performed together since 2019 after they famously returned as a foursome because Victoria Beckham went into popstar retirement.

The last time they took to the stage all together was in 2012 for the London Olympics’ closing ceremony.

Although the UK and Ireland tour was a success, raking in $78.2 million and selling almost 700,000 tickets, it’s now claimed that an interview involving Piers sealed the girl band’s fate forever.

In 2019, Melanie Brown also known as Scary Spice sat down with the journalist for an episode of his biographical talk show, Life Stories.

During the in-depth interview, the singer unearthed a major secret, her band mate Geri Horner seemingly would’ve preferred to be kept private.

Piers asked Mel: “There were rumours you and Geri were more than just good friends, you’ve had a little dabble? Anything you want to share with the group?

The 49-year-old joked: “She had great boobs,” before Piers pressed her, and she eventually conceded with a nod.

Mel divulged: “She’s going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house with her husband. It’s the past.

“It wasn’t a thing, it happened and we just giggled at it and that was it. She’s going to kill me and so is my husband, well she’s not that posh now is she?”

Now, according to a source via MailOnline, the chances of a reunion are slim as the interview sparked a major divide among the Spice Girls.

The insider claimed: “Managing all five Spice Girls is probably the toughest job in the business, but it is the fallout between Mel B and Geri that makes the job seem like a nightmare.

“There is always something going on between them – deep down they love one another, but Geri just can't understand why Mel had to tell the world about their fling.”

They added: “'It has caused a whole load of drama, so they are struggling.

"The girls are certain that they can get some big gigs, Glastonbury even, if they find the right manager – but they can't.”

Despite this, the ladies were able to put any tensions aside for Victoria’s 50th birthday bash earlier this year.

In a sweet clip filmed by her husband David Beckham, the Spice Girls could be seen having fun as they danced to their 1997 hit Stop.
