Winter has officially hit, but not for a group of lucky celebs who get to spend weeks Down Under in an all-new series of Iâm A Celebrity. This November, Coleen Rooney, Barry McGuigan, Oti Mabuse, Danny Jones, and Tulisa Contostavlos are just some of the confirmed big names set to take part.
Itâs time for Bushtucker Trials and Dingo Dollar challenges to commence. Hosts Ant and Dec are ready and raring to go for the all-new Iâm A Celebrity series to kick off on November 19. As the official list of celebrities is announced, some of the stars may be lesser known than others. One Iâm A Celeb campmate heading into the Aussie jungle is platinum-selling artist Tulisa. This year, Olivia Attwood discovers how Tulisa isnât the singerâs real name during an interview on her podcast, So Wrong Itâs Right.
Iâm A Celeb star unearths her real name
Appearing as a guest on Oliviaâs So Wrong Itâs Right podcast this October, the two get chatting about all kinds of aspects of Tulisaâs life.
âTulisa is not your actual name,â says Olivia.
The Better Not Waste My Time singer replies: âNo it isnât. Youâre the first person to bring that up ever. Love that fresh energy.â

The N-Dubz starâs real name is âTulaâ.
Olivia says in all her years of hearing about Tulisa, she never heard her real name mentioned.
Tulisa explains: âMy grandmother is also called Tula,â adding how she was named after her.
âTulisa means âtiny Tulaâ in Greek,â Tulisa continues.
The former X Factor star explains how sheâs half Greek and that âTulisaâ ended up being her nickname growing up.
Tulisaâs family explored
Tulisaâs full name is Tula Paulinea Contostavlos and she was born on July 13, 1988, in Camden Town, London.
She is one year older than her cousin and bandmate, Costadinos âDappyâ Contostavlos.
Both were born and raised in London. Dappyâs father, and Tulisaâs uncle, âUncle Bâ, was N-Dubzâs manager.
Speaking to Olivia, Tulisa said Uncle B âsadly diedâ when she was 18, but âbefore that he basically managed N-Dubz.â
Tulisa explains how Dappy went to his father at a young age and expressed how he wanted to be a rapper.
Byron âUncle Bâ Contostavlos suggested Dappy get a group together and later N-Dubz was formed.
Speaking of how her part in the band came about, Tulisa said: âMy Uncle B came and knocked on my door and he was like âRight T, we really need you at the studio, would you come and lay something down?â and I was like âNo, Iâm gonna be a solo starâ.â
After settling on a deal of ÂŁ50 with her uncle, Tulisa said: âAnd thatâs how N-Dubz started, I was 11 years old, bartering for fifty quid.â
