Prince William's new ITV documentary is an upcoming two-part series which will be championing a cause close to his heart - ending homelessness in the UK.
The Prince of Wales has launched a five year project to combat the crisis in 6 different areas across the UK. Also known as the Homewards programme, the initiative can be traced back to his early childhood.
From a young age, Princess Diana exposed her two sons to discreet visits to homeless shelters, particularly The Passage in London when he was just 11 years old.
During an emotional discussion during the first episode, William said: "I have taken some inspiration and guidance from what my mother did, particularly with homelessness."
He also added: "I’ve slowly tried to work out what can I bring to the role and the platform that I have," and expressed that he doesn't “believe we should be living with homelessness in the 21st century.”

Speaking exclusively about working with the Prince of Wales to Express Online, Chief Executive of The Passage Mick Clarke said: "I kind of get a feeling there's a bit of a family relationship there, given the history back to to when he was 11. He's also very authentic.
"I think the thing that people who have lived with homelessness are very good at sussing almost instantly whether someone's straightforward, whether they're authentic or not, and he just feels very comfortable."
Princess Diana, who died in August 1997 in a traffic collison, also advocated to end homelessness during her time working with the Royal Family.
Also during the ITV documentary, William met the founder of "The Big Issue," which is a magazine known for supporting the homeless.

William's project aims to end homelessness in six regions, including Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, Sheffield, Newport, Lambeth, Aberdeen and Northern Ireland.
The upcoming documentary details that it is about “a transformative five-year, locally led programme that will aim to demonstrate that together it’s possible to end homelessness.”
Prince William: We Can End Homelessness airs 30th and 31st October at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, STV and STV Player.
