Rachael Kirkconnell still loves Tokyo, despite it being the city where she and ex Matt James broke up.
The “Bachelor” alum, 28, shared a collection of photos from her Japanese vacation to her Instagram on Wednesday — one day after discussing their split on the Tuesday episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
Amid several selfies, the reality TV star posted pictures of the city, the impressive food she ate and the clothes she wore.
On “Call Her Daddy,” Kirkconnell told host Alex Cooper that she and James broke up after a tense dinner date. Still, Kirkconnell said the split came “out of nowhere.”
“He said that at the end of the day there were just qualities about me that he worries about having in a wife,” she explained.
“At the end of the day, there are things that we aren’t compatible with and the whole accountability and saying sorry and all that was really the main thing,” she added, noting that James felt she struggled with taking accountability for her mistakes.

“It was just one of those things where he, I think, just had this realization that ‘I should want to propose to you by this time,'” the 28-year-old said.
“‘Like, at this point in our relationship, I should be wanting those things and I should be ready for that. But I’m not still, I still don’t feel like we’re ready or I don’t feel like I’m ready. I don’t know if I ever see myself proposing to you. I can’t actually see myself married to you.’”
Viewers watched Kirkconnell and James meet and fall in love on Season 25 of “The Bachelor.”
While they briefly dated after filming wrapped, they ended their relationship in March 2021 over race issues.
Soon after, they rekindled their relationship and they dated until James announced the end of their relationship on Jan. 16.
