A woman you may have seen on reality TV has been found dead… and police think an active duty US Marine is to blame.
According to a disturbing report from Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, 26-year-old Tshey Bennett was reported missing over the weekend. You may know her from her appearance in the first season of HollyHoodTV‘s Skrippa Bootcamp — a reality show about exotic dancers. Police immediately began investigating her disappearance as a homicide, and sadly they got the answer they expected even if nobody was hoping for it…
A press release states Bennett’s body was found “in a pond located in an abandoned neighborhood in Mobile, Alabama” on Wednesday. So, so sad. But luckily for her loved ones seeking justice, law enforcement have already arrested someone in connection to the crime.

On the same day her body was uncovered, police were able to connect 20-year-old Willie Ellington to the crime. They say he was the last one to see her, as she was working as an escort at the Sweet Dream Inn in Pensacola, Florida. The motel isn’t far away from where Ellington was stationed aboard the NAS Pensacola, per Military.com.
Public Information Officer Morgan Lewis told to the outlet the pair had allegedly met up at the Inn. Bennett’s car and cell phone were found at one of the rooms in the hotel, but the bedding was missing and there was an unidentified electrical cord present. The reason law enforcement were able to find Ellington is because he rented a car which they traced all the way to Alabama — where the young woman’s body was found.
The ECSO caught up with Ellington and arrested him while aboard a bus in Opelika, Alabama. Lewis alleges he was just “trying to leave town” — but what cops would find after his arrest showed much darker intentions.
Per Officer Lewis, there was some horrifying Google search history on his devices, which included:
“What does a body look like, a dead body look like, after two days?”
“How many prostitute murders go unsolved?”
“Does someone scream if they’re being strangled?”
Chilling… and this was before the killing. So cops say this points to the homicide being premeditated. Not only did they find this damning evidence, though, they also found child sexual abuse material on the Marine’s phone.
Ellington was charged with first-degree murder and possession of child pornography. There’s also a chance these charges will be federal, as it appears he moved the body across state lines.
Just awful. Our heart goes out to Tshey’s family, loved ones, and fans. May she rest in peace and get the justice she deserves.
