Rebekah Vardy has told pals she wants to return to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle in order to shock her rival Coleen Rooney, it is claimed.

Celeb WAG Becky, 42, starred in the ITV reality TV contest back in 2017 and reportedly has told friends she thinks it’s “hilarious” that Wayne Rooney ’s wife Coleen is copying her.

A friend told the Sun: “Becky would be straight on a plane if she had the chance. She’d love to see the look on Coleen’s face if she appeared. It would make the best television. But she imagines bosses have promised Coleen they have no such surprise planned.

“She thinks it’s hilarious that Coleen is copying her and it is only encouraging people to keep talking about Wagatha rather than leave it in the past. Becky has nothing to hide though she would be game to put on her camp costume.”

Becky, who is married to Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy, posted on Instagram with a cryptic message as she finds herself back in the headlines. With some fans telling her to "pay up and shut up" on Twitter, the WAG posted: "I take rumours as a compliment. The fact you're bringing my name onto tables I don't sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered."

On Friday, it was revealed that Rebekah, 42, is appealing a recent ruling on Coleen's legal costs, just as the Liverpudlian, 38, is gearing up for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! Last month, lawyers for the two women clashed in the High Court over the legal costs claimed by Coleen, 90% of which Rebekah had been ordered to pay in an earlier ruling in the infamous Wagatha Christie trial.

However, Senior Costs Judge Andrew Gordon-Saker ruled "on balance and, I have to say, only just" that Coleen's legal team had not acted improperly. Rebekah is now appealing the decision

In 2019 Coleen, wife of former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, accused Rebekah of leaking her private information to the press via social media.

More recently Rebekah was ordered to pay Coleen an additional £100,000 following their libel battle, with the total amount owed still to be determined. This comes after Rebekah lost her High Court claim against Coleen in 2022, who had accused her of leaking private information to the press via social media.

Rebekah was subsequently ordered to cover 90% of Coleen's legal fees, making an initial payment of £800,000.

Earlier this month, Judge Andrew Gordon-Saker ordered her to pay an extra £100,000 to Coleen within 21 days.

Coleen, 38, is said to be getting paid £1.5m for her stint in the I’m A Celeb jungle.

It was reported that she has asked if she can be the last to arrive in Australia, to allow her to have more time with Wayne and their four sons.

A source told the Sun: “Coleen isn’t being a diva. ITV will be accommodating. Who wouldn’t — she’s a mum at the end of the day.”
