RHOBH Season 14 Taglines Ranked, From Slay to Nay

Now that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is back for Season 14, it’s time to judge the latest batch of taglines. Over the years, RHOBH gave us some of the best Real Housewives taglines ever (usually courtesy of Lisa Vanderpump, a tagline master). However, it also produced some of the worst. None of the Season 14 taglines are terrible, but some shine brighter than others. Without further ado, here’s our ranking from best to worst, or slay to nay. Dorit Kemsley: “I may look like a doll, but don’t wind me up”

I’m as shocked as anyone to rank Dorit Kemsley first this year, considering that taglines were never her strong suit. But she’s putting in the work this season. After the premiere episode alone, it feels right to name her Season 14’s MVP. And now, that includes having the best tagline of the bunch.

Whether it’s her ongoing separation, the end of her friendship with Kyle Richards, or both, something lit a fire under her this year. Dorit is fed up, she’s activated, and she’s not going to let anyone walk over her anymore. This tagline perfectly reflects that new attitude. The Season 14 opening credits outfit is one of her best looks ever.

Bozoma Saint John: “Introducing the greatest product I’ve ever marketed: myself”

RHOBH newcomer Bozoma Saint John knocks it out of the park on her first try! After making an impeccable impression on viewers in the premiere, Boz’s first tagline perfectly shows off her sparkling confidence. To quote her pal Sutton Stracke, Boz is the boss. She had the most incredible career in corporate America. And now, she seems poised for an equal amount of success in the Real Housewives world.

This tagline represents her previous success, as well as her new phase as a different kind of public figure. and her rise to the ranks of impressive recent Real Housewives additions. We love Boz as much as her new bestie Dorit.

Kyle Richards: “These hills have eyes, and they’re all staring at me”

Kyle Richards is an iconic Real Housewife for many reasons, but her taglines are usually lacking. I lost track of how many years in a row she proclaimed that Beverly Hills is her town. But this is one of her best in all her 14 seasons.

It’s also a cheeky nod to the horror movie The Hills Have Eyes. This makes for a fun reference to Kyle’s acting career and status as one of the Real Housewives scream queens. Also, despite what the haters may say, all eyes are on Kyle. Her oblique statements about her personal life may frustrate fans, but it also means she gets a lot of tabloid coverage. Did you see the recent frenzy over Sutton’s claim that Kyle made a move on Kevin Costner?

Garcelle Beauvais: “I’ve been in the game too long to play by someone else’s rules”

Is Garcelle Beauvais holding space for the lyrics of Defining Gravity? Potential Wicked crossover (or just a timely coincidence) aside, this is pretty good. The reason Garcelle’s latest tagline falls in the middle is that it’s just not quite as punchy as the top 3 in our ranking.

Regardless, this tagline feels very appropriate for her current era. In the Season 14 premiere, we saw that Garcelle is on top of her game, especially as a producer. Decades into her career, she’s reached a new echelon of success. Plus, her delivery is great, not that we’d expect anything less from the award-winning actress.

Erika Jayne: “In Beverly Hills, money buys a lot, but my independence – priceless”

Is this a reference to the old MasterCard commercials? Erika Jayne loves to mention wealth in her taglines. Obviously, we’d expect nothing less of EJ. Remember when she called herself an enigma wrapped in a riddle and cash? Of course, she had to change course a bit after ex-husband Tom Girardi’s legal fallout.

These days, Erika prides herself on being an independent single woman. Especially after her Bet It All On Blonde residency was portrayed as a major comeback. So it’s appropriate that her taglines would go this route. However, to me, this one isn’t that inspiring. It’s also very similar to Camille Meyer’s tagline post-Kelsey Grammer divorce.

Sutton Stracke: “I honor my fine southern manners by putting you in your place”

I honestly kept forgetting Sutton’s tagline, which is not a great sign, since there are only six Housewives to keep track of this year! And I had to double-check that she didn’t use this one before. Sutton loves to mention her Southern heritage in her taglines, which makes sense. But it can get repetitive.

I’m also surprised she didn’t reference her internet-breaking name ’em moment. But Real Housewives fans are usually divided on whether or not using a line from a previous season is a good move. Sutton has lots of good lines, but that’s never translated into iconic taglines. Last year, she mentioned buying a horse, a storyline that Kyle used against her at the reunion. Her Season 14 tagline isn’t bad, but it’s the least interesting of the pack.
