RHONY’s Sai De Silva Reveals What She Does for Work: ‘Know You’re Wondering’

When Sai De Silva appeared on the rebooted Real Housewives of New York series, her job seemed nebulous. At first, she presented as an influencer, and this is fine. But Sai is so much more than an online hawker of goods. Realizing that some of us needed help with this concept, Sai just took to BravoTV to share more about what she does for a living, and now, I must admit, her career choice looks exhausting.

Sai De Silva explains how she makes a living, both on and off RHONY

“I am Sai De Silva and I am a lifestyle content creator. I know you’re wondering, what does that even mean?” the entrepreneur began, noting, “I am the girl who creates the content on all your social media platforms. I’m talking about TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, all your favorite places to go,” Sai explained. 

For this shoot, Sai, her photographer Ali, and her assistant, May De Silva, ventured to 78th St and Fifth Avenue, hoping to shoot some images for an unnamed client. Ali picked this location, but Sai brought the props, meaning multiple pairs of shoes and sunglasses. “It’s super chaotic. It’s always messy,” Sai articulated, noting that she’s “paid to make it look super easy.”

During a typical day at work, Sai travels to different locations in the city. Once she arrives, Sai’s team takes shots of her in varying outfits. Each shoot “can take a while,” so sometimes, Sai brings her car along for the ride. Her vehicle then becomes her mobile dressing room.

On set, Sai grabbed a “stunning” pair of sunglasses. She then got down to work. And by work, Sai walked the streets of NYC like they were a runway, stopping here and there for close-up shots as needed. 

Following each shoot, Sai starts immediately preparing her Instagram Stories for each client, as Ali begins editing her photos. Sai makes her job look easy, but it takes a village and a lot of time to make things appear as effortlessly as Sai does.
