Doireann Garrihy purchased a run down property in her native Castleknock, Dublin, back in 2022.
The Dancing With The Stars host had quite the project on her hands for her first home. The house interior was dated and exterior neglected.
Doireann enlisted the help of an architect to redesign the home layout and draw plans for a large extension to the rear of the property.
The 2FM radio presenter spent more than a year gutting the property before building and designing the contemporary home that it is today.
Doireann chose modern finishes throughout from the sleek stair handrail, to the mirrored kitchen backsplash, and trendy black steel doors.
Taking to Instagram, the 32-year-old shared the incredible before and after footage of the home, showing just how much of transformation the renovation was.
Doireann shared an update on the home last summer, writing: “Almost 2 years since first setting eyes on the house, I just couldn’t be happier with where we’re at.”
The three-bedroom semi-detached property is the perfect place for Doireann and her new husband Mark Mehigan to begin newlywed life with their dog Bertie.
