Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne has shared her thoughts on her daughter Kelly Osbourne being on good terms with her former colleague Simon Cowell.
Sharon, 72, worked alongside Simon, 65, for more than a decade but has criticised him in more recent years. They appeared together on the ITV show at times between 2004 and 2017, and she was a judge on America's Got Talent - which was also created by Simon - from 2007 to 2012.
Music manager Sharon's daughter Kelly, 40 - who was once a judge on Australia's Got Talent - shared in a recent interview that she's on good terms with Simon herself. Approached by TMZ whilst out in Los Angeles on Friday, Sharon shared that she's "happy" that Kelly has a relationship with Simon. Asked her thoughts on the apparent friendship, she said: "Oh, that's great. I'm happy that she does."
Questioned on whether she thinks her daughter should show her "any type of loyalty," Sharon responded: "God no, Simon's fine." The former the Osbourne's cast member went on to described her former colleague as "great". The comments come after Kelly shared her thoughts on Simon in a recent interview with Us Weekly. She said: "I'd never want to disrespect Simon. I like Simon." She went on to recall that he once had a "working relationship" with Sharon.
She told the outlet that Simon and Sharon "had their issues," but assured that she stays "out of it" unless it's over something that she considers "wrong". Kelly, who said that there's "no secrets," added that he did her mother "dirty a couple times" and that she "got him back".

One interaction saw Sharon claim that she she had turned down a role on the Masked Singer in the US because she had committed to a role on a new series of the X Factor with Simon, which she said later fell through. She told Louis: "I missed a huge gig. That's why I was furious." She also told him that she wouldn't work with Simon again for "all the money in the world".
Simon later addressed being mentioned on the show, telling the Mirror in April: "I still consider Sharon and Louis really good friends, we could pick up the phone to each other tomorrow. I think that's probably one of the things they're upset about, because they can never get hold of me. I don't have a phone but from what I heard, what they said about me was actually quite funny."
