PWInsider reports that McMahon working on a new project for WWE, described as a pro wrestling counterpart to ESPN's Peyton's Places.

The series will feature McMahon discussing WWE's history with prominent figures from the wrestling world, much like Peyton Manning's show, which highlights key moments and personalities from NFL history.

The announcement came during a WWE town hall meeting at the company's Stamford, Connecticut headquarters on January 29, where it was revealed that McMahon has been involved in the project, although few details were disclosed.

The show is still in development, and there's no timeline yet for its release or confirmation of a broadcasting platform, although Netflix, home to WWE Network in many regions, is a plausible candidate.

This marks a significant return for McMahon, who resigned as WWE's Chairwoman and Co-CEO in January 2023 following her father Vince McMahon's return to the company.

Since then, Stephanie has occasionally appeared at WWE events, notably at WrestleMania 40, and has been seen attending shows as a member of the audience. Despite speculation about her potential return to a more formal role, WWE officials have stated that she is content being around WWE in a more casual capacity.

During a recent interview on the "SI Media With Jimmy Traina" podcast, Triple H (her husband and WWE Executive Vice President) expressed his support for Stephanie's potential return.

He mentioned that while she is passionate about WWE, she has been prioritizing time with their children, which has kept her away from a more involved role in the company.

"She'll always have a passion for this," Triple H said, adding that any decision to return would be weighed against her desire to spend time with her kids. However, he teased that fans might still see her in connection with the upcoming series, potentially through Netflix.

As for the series, it's currently in the works, and while details are scarce, the fact that high-profile WWE figures like Austin and Rhodes are already involved hints at its potential to be a major project for the company.

Fans will likely have to wait a while to see the finished product, but the series promises to give an inside look at WWE through the lens of its biggest stars.
