Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell returned to the dancefloor on Saturday night, performing in the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
The pair danced an American Smooth to Paul Anka's Jump, aiming to secure a spot in the next stage of the BBC competition, with only eight couples remaining in the race for the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
The judges— Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke—praised their performance, awarding an impressive 37 out of 40. Craig scored them 8, Motsi gave them 9, and Shirley and Anton each awarded a perfect 10.
After receiving feedback, Dianne became emotional, prompting Chris to comfort his dance partner with a supportive hug.
Their performance follows an update from Dianne about her recent health struggles. The Australian dancer, known for sharing behind-the-scenes moments in the duo's weekly vlog CHRIS's DIAnneRIES, revealed she had been unwell leading up to the previous weekend.

In a video, Chris humorously asked why no vlog had been posted on Monday. Dianne explained, "I wasn’t very well," detailing that she had been battling a stomach bug and had a tough time from Friday, November 8, through the weekend, though she recovered by Saturday.
Despite the setback, the pair have continued to charm audiences with their journey. Chris, the show’s first visually impaired contestant, has inspired viewers and established himself as a fan favorite to win this year’s competition.
