Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas have further shut down romance rumours, but admitted they do have undeniable chemistry.
Rumours of their friendship blossoming into something more have swirled the duo, who are currently starring on Strictly Come Dancing.
With their sizzling chemistry evident every week on the dance floor, Jamie, 31, and Michelle, 29, have been forced to deny that they are more than friends.
Speaking to Express.co.uk at the Pride of Britain Awards, the EastEnders actor admitted he put a stop to the rumours as soon as they came out.
"They're tried to do it with us but I very firmly put it to bed," he said as Michelle added: "We do have amazing chemistry but he's like my brother."

Turning to Michelle, Jamie agreed: "She's like my sister."
Opening up on their instant connection, Michelle continued: "I think chemistry is something that you either have or you don't. Either you find it very easy to talk or be around someone or not."
"You just naturally build a rapport," Jamie said as he opened up about spending more than eight hours a day with his partner.
Cypriot-Sri-Lankan professional dancer Michelle added: "I'm very straight with him and he's straight with me."
Hoping to continue their impressive run in the competition, Jamie said: "We're enjoying it so much. We're enjoying being together, we've got a good relationship and we want it to continue."

Michelle has been a professional dancer on Strictly since 2022, however, this is her first year with a celebrity partner. Performing every week means Michelle has been thrust into the spotlight, meaning she is no stranger to receiving comments from fans online.
On how she deals with this, the dancer explained: "I've tried not to look through comments because I know that can sometimes throw you off.
"I've noticed positive comments, I'm sure there are also negative comments as well. There always are but I'm really not paying that much attention to them."
Sharing her top priority, Michelle went on: "I'm just focusing on the good, how to get better and bringing out the best in Jamie."
