Suri Cruise is supporting her mom. The 18-year-old who's currently enrolled in her freshman year at Carnegie Mellon University was photographed in New York City, where she bundled up for the cold to watch Katie Holmes perform on Broadway, where she's starring in a production of "Our Town."
Suri was photographed walking in New York, wearing a green puffer jacket with some jeans and canvas sneakers. She was carrying a brown tote bag and looked totally comfortable in the city, where she grew up and spent most of her life in.
She accessorized the look with a choker and was photographed while using her phone.
It also appears like she recently cut her hair, boasting it straight and shiny yet of a shorter length, landing somewhere around her shoulders.
Videos shared on Katie's Instagram showed that Suri was one of the guests at the production of "Our Town" and that she likely traveled home to spend time with her mother and celebrate her birthday.
The birthday coincides with her winter break at Carnegie Mellon University, which, according to their 2024-2025 calendar, began on December 17th.
Suri's classes will resume on Monday, January 13th.
Katie's birthday celebration showed her "Our Town" co-workers performing a rendition of the "Happy Birthday" song while holding out custom birthday banners.
More details about Katie's surprise
The video showed that Suri was among the cast and crew, singing to Katie. "Mom, love you," she says at one point in the clip, prompting a smile from Katie.
Kaite laughed and looked shy all through the video, with the person that was doing the recording ensuring to capture a closer look at the birthday banners, which featured various photos of Robert Redford, likely one of Holmes' major crushes.
Near the end of the clip, the person recording it made sure to film Suri, who laughed and showed off her banner proudly.
